Solveig and Ben. That's it. That's all that needs to be said.

Kidding, sort of. I think these photos could speak for themselves, but of course they deserve an introduction. Solveig and Ben are so kind and so fun! I remember our first phone call together and already laughing and joking together so easily.

Solveig wanted some moodier vibes, so I recommended planning a session for blue hour rather than golden hour. I always like to tell people that I cannot change my editing style. My editing style is me, and I'm not going to do another style well. So! Blue hour felt like such a great option to make my brighter, more vibrant style into something moodier. I thanked her for communicating this with me, and we chatted about trying to schedule some portraits for blue hour during their wedding as well!

Communicating your expectations and desires as a client will help your photographer serve you best, and this is such a perfect example of that.

I met up with Solveig and Ben the weekend after Christmas in Highland Park near Lamberton Conservatory. Solveig asked for lots of black and white, and if nothing else, I'm here to serve. Please enjoy a little peek into this incredible session. It feels like a movie that I want to jump into. I want to see the end!

Is this not going to be the most elegant wedding ever in October?? I can already imagine the two of them dressed as bride and groom! I am so thrilled to be working with these two, and I can't wait to share more of them!
