I took photos of the Jones family two years ago when their oldest granddaughter was just a baby. When their oldest daughter reached out to me again this year, I was so excited to meet up with them again. We chose to have their session in late November on private property in the hills of Cattaraugus County.
Extended family sessions can be so fun! There are always so many personalities flying around, and it's always exciting for me to get to know everyone better and to see the dynamics of relationships at work. They're a great option to be able to capture full group photos, and then all of the little different groupings as well.
I so enjoyed this day with the Jones family. They are so kind and so funny, and just absolutely embraced the chaos of having two little ones along for the session. As a mother myself, I can totally appreciate it all. Here's a peek into their shoot.
