When Lila's mom reached out to me in late-November about a first birthday session for her daughter, I was so excited! The weather that weekend was going to be unseasonably warm, and I convinced them to do an early morning session at Ontario Beach Park. They had recently relocated to Rochester from Boston, and couldn't get over how much Lake Ontario looks like the ocean.
I think from inquiry to session was less than 48 hours, which was so fun! We couldn't believe how easily the weather and our schedules lined up for this shoot-- I mean, who would have thought that this little December baby could have her birthday photos taken at the beach?? I also want to mention that this was a 20-minute session. TWENTY MINUTES. I mean, come on. So much goodness in so little time.
Truly, the sun shone so beautifully, and it was the most magical morning to celebrate a special little girl.
