Stephanie contacted me about doing a session with her sister and their nephew, and when she mentioned that they were thinking about doing a beach session in February, I was completely on board.
They chose to do their session at Durand Eastman Beach, and when I arrived on location, I was certain that we had been transported to the Arctic Circle. The frozen waves, the gorgeous sunset, the deep, fluffy snow-- all of it was completely magical. I should have worn my knee-high snow boots because we kept sinking way down deep into the snow. I think we were all completely soaked by the end, but we had so much fun together that I didn't notice until it was time to leave!
Sister sessions are so fun when you can feel the close dynamic between them. It was easy to see that they're best friends, and totally comfortable and silly around each other. Not to mention, I found out that their little nephew Alexander shares an exact birthday with my daughter, so we had a heart connection from the start!
Steph, Nik, and Alexander: I had an absolute blast with you. Thank you for being such great sports, for making me laugh, and for being so genuinely fun and kind.
