Jessica and Ryan were married on my sixth wedding anniversary in the most gorgeous ceremony in their front yard. Their invitations read "on the farm," as the property that their house stands on has been part of Ryan's family farm for decades in the heartland of Western New York.
I took their engagement photos way back in August 2021 in Ryan's family's hay field, and it was one of the most powerful sessions ever. I'm planning to share those soon, but I'm jumping the gun a little bit and want to share their wedding photos first because I just can't wait.
Jess was meticulous in her planning, and it showed. Her timeline was seamless, not even the smallest detail was overlooked. She truly had a vision for her day, and I had the privilege of watching it come to life from start to finish.
This was my first time working with Kelsea Winchell from Poppysea Floristry and when I tell you that her florals are even more breathtaking in person, I mean it. Seriously just the best day for me as a photographer, top to bottom.
These are truly the coolest experiences for me; being booked two years out from their wedding date and becoming friends with my couples. Getting excited texts and sneak peeks into the day all along. I got photos the day that she picked out her wedding dress. I got to see moodboards for her bridal bouquet. My photos from their engagement session were on their save the dates. Truly such an honor to be a part of this day, and to forever share an anniversary with these two!
