Mary is one of the most whimsical beings I have ever met in my entire life. She sees the little things, she delights in the romantic, and she has a heart of gold. I don't know what wedding gods aligned her with me, but I am so thankful to have been chosen for her and Nic's wedding day.
Their wedding day took place at the Historic Maison Albion, nestled into the countryside in Albion, NY. The mansion was built in 1878, and has gorgeous gardens and a huge ballroom. There couldn't have been a better setting for Mary and Nic.
The weather was perfect, the sun glittered through the trees, and the DONKEYS Y'ALL. DONKEYS WITH FLOWERS. Seriously I cannot even tell you about the level of whimsy in this day, and it spoke to me in a way that no other wedding day ever has.
This was also the longest wedding that I have ever shot. I was there from start to finish, and I couldn't be more grateful to have been welcomed into their hearts and their day. Mary and Nic are the kind that I just know I'm going to be connected to forever. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to stay in touch with my wedding couples even after the day is over.
Mary and Nic, thank you for choosing me! Thank you for all of the shooting stars and wishes and dreams that aligned to bring us together to make all of this magic come true on your wedding day. I'm always cheering you on ❤️
